Data protection
Data Protection The practice is registered with the Data Protection Agency and is bound by the rules governing the collection and storage of personal data. Our computer system holds patients’ personal and medical details. It is used to recall patients for routine services such as immunisations and medication reviews. Patients are entitled to see their medical records and to request a copy of all information held about them on the computer. A charge will be made for this service. We also supply anonymous patient data to research bodies to support medical and health research. This information never includes patients’ names, addresses, dates of birth or any information from which an individual can be identified. If you want any more information about this please write to Denise Pora, Practice Manager who will be happy to answer your questions.
